For your business · Paper forms, missing phone numbers, and nobody signed the terms
Customers sign themselves in at the counter
A touchscreen at the counter: name, number, what's wrong, and a finger signature on your terms. The job makes itself.
The chore
Every drop-off needs the same four things: a name, a phone number, what’s wrong with it, and the customer agreeing to your terms. On paper, one of the four is always missing, and the signed terms are the one that matters when someone argues about a scratch or a storage fee.
What runs now
A touchscreen on the counter. The customer taps “sign in”, types their details, reads your terms, ticks the box and signs with a finger. The job appears on the job board straight away with the signed terms attached, and it’s findable by name or number for as long as you need it. In and out in under a minute, and no one behind the counter has to stop what they’re doing.
If you run two brands from one counter, the screen asks which one first and the paperwork comes out with the right name on it.
What changed
No more “what was his number”. The terms are signed every single time, because the job can’t be created without it. And it works for the customer when the counter’s unattended, which is most of the day in a small shop.
What it took
A touchscreen (a cheap USB one is fine), a computer at the counter, your terms written out, and a day. It plugs into the job board above, or it can simply email you each sign-in if you’d rather start there.
