For your business · Retyping the same quote, the same report, the same checklist
Quotes and reports that build themselves from a few numbers
Put the numbers in once. Every page of the quote, invoice or inspection report comes out matching, in your layout, in seconds.
The chore
A twelve-page quote where the totals on page one have to match page nine. A daily inspection that’s the same forty questions, on paper, that someone has to type up. A report that’s the same every week with different numbers in it. Retyping is slow, and the mistakes end up in front of the customer.
What runs now
The numbers live in one place. The documents are built from them. Change a price, and every page that shows it changes with it: the summary, the line items, the cover letter. A fleet quote for a government customer went out this way, with the mechanical work and the batteries priced separately and a summary that could not disagree with the detail, because it was the same data.
For checklists, the questions live on a phone. Someone walks the floor, taps the answers, photographs the problem, and the finished report is already written and filed by the time they’re back at the desk.
What changed
A quote that used to take a morning takes ten minutes, and it’s right. The inspection record exists, every shift, because doing it is easier than not doing it.
What it took
Your current quote or report as a sample, and the rules for how the numbers work. A day or two per document type.
